Updating bios with biostar bios flasher

Rated 4.18/5 based on 990 customer reviews

The AMI BIOS Configuration Program (AMIBCP) for Aptio enables customers to modify parameters in a BIOS ROM without rebuilding from source.

Each file type has a slighty different installation procedure to follow.

You can find your motherboard's BIOS version number on the POST screen. As soon as you see the Biostar bootup splash screen, press TAB, this will reveal the POST screen (if you don't see the splash screen at all, it is okay.

The version of BIOS you have most likely doesn't have the splash screen). After the flashing is done, reset the computer and enter CMOS setup again.

Utilized for factory or field BIOS updates, AFU is flexible enough to update the entire Flash part or only a portion.

It programs the main BIOS image, boot block or OEM configurable ROM regions.
